It's Tuesday at 2:00pm! (PST Time: I live and work from Southern California)
Greetings to you!
Each week I send out a short leadership blog that's called "Tuesday at 2:00pm". The purpose of this is simply to provide a brief thought on leadership that you can read and think about in just a few minutes. I send it out every week at 2:00pm (PST) and encourage you to make an appointment with yourself to pause and think about the thing I'm writing about.

LEADERSHIP QUOTE:
"If you are working on something exciting that you really care about, you don't have to be pushed. The vision pulls you." Steve Jobs
What does this stir up? Either write me HERE or comment at the end of the blog post HERE.
A LITTLE BIT DEEPER:
This Month we're going to explore some quotes on the theme of VISION. Click Here to see past posts.
We shared a few Steve Jobs quotes earlier in the year, but I've been holding onto this one. The power of this quote is so simple:
A Compelling Vision Will Drive You!
A vision that isn't clear, that you're not excited about wilI wear you down!
I'm sure that Steve Jobs probably took this to the extreme, but as I've read about his tenure at Apple, he was clearly driven by the vision he had for their company and for technology. He saw something that others couldn't even imagine, and it drove him to strive for perfection.
I don't always have that level of drive, but there have been times in my life when I got a glimpse of the future, and it was all I could think about: I didn't sleep much, I wrote ideas on little notes of paper, I talked to people, I worked the idea.
Eventually, either the idea died away, or it transitioned to reality and it became something that made it's way into my goals and plans.
When was the last time you experienced something like this?
Have you ever had an idea that PULLED YOU FORWARD? You couldn't ignore it and let it go... how did that feel?
DEEPER STILL:
Years ago, I believe God called me into something called Leader Mundial. This was an idea, a dream, a vision. While I had experienced some of what Leader Mundial would become in another leadership cohort, I had a very clear vision of what this could be like.
It was all I could think about, all I could work on. As I shared the dream, others got on board, and eventually it morphed into our first "Summit". This was a leadership experience, and I joke about it, but at the time, I had a clear vision but didn't know how to get there, so I flew people in from around the world, put them all in a room, put together some key components, then stood back and let God do the heavy lifting.
And He did...
Lives have been transformed, organizations have been impacted, families have been strengthened, and leaders have been equipped, encouraged and connected.
All that I saw back in 2006 has happened, and then a whole lot more!
This next year, Leader Mundial will celebrate our 19th year, and today this little vision has grown into a movement of leaders from around the globe. Men and Women, coming together to experience a coaching cohort and then taking that back to their country, their organization and their life.
It pulled me towards it, then it pulled a bunch of other people towards it.
Today we have Men & Women gathering together in Ecuador, Philippines, South Africa, Kazakstan and the United States. We've seen movements of leaders in Nepal, Zimbabwe, Malawi, Tajikistan and Cuba.
The compelling vision PULLS!
What does it feel like to have that drive, that focus, that energy? How has that affected your life, both positively or negatively?
