It's Tuesday at 2:00pm! (PST Time: I live and work from Southern California)
Currently, I'm exploring different leadership quotes on this blog post, and pulling out some application for all of us. This is part of my personal journey to keep growing, learning and being stretched! Join me each Tuesday at 2:00pm (PST). It will take you just a few minutes to read through the 2 sections of this post, but don't miss the final section where I share some of the things I'm reading, listening to and enjoying this week.

LEADERSHIP QUOTE:
“Good business leaders create a vision, articulate the vision, passionately own the vision, and relentlessly drive it to completion." Jack Welch
What does this stir up? Either write me HERE or comment at the end of the blog post HERE.
A LITTLE BIT DEEPER:
We've been talking about VISION for a couple of weeks, and when I saw this quote from Jack Welch, the former Chairman and CEO of General Electric, there were some words that just jumped out at me.
Read the quote again... Do you see the words?
He's talking about what leaders must do when it comes to vision:
• CREATE a Vision
What do you see that nobody else sees? Where do you want to go?
• ARTICULATE the Vision
Explain it so that other people can understand it and get a grasp of it.
• PASSIONATELY OWN the Vision
You don't pass vision off, but you own it, it's yours.
• RELENTLESSLY DRIVE IT TO COMPLETION
Achieve it, pursue it, move towards it... RELENTLESSLY.
Powerful words when it comes to vision.
What do these words mean to you when it comes to the vision you have for your business? Your organization? Your family? Your life? This is what it takes to get from HERE to where you want to be!
DEEPER STILL:
I recently met with a leader who was having a difficult time articulating their vision. She and her leadership team were lost and this caused the entire organization to come to a screeching halt.
They needed to figure out where they were going and why.
You can't fake vision. It comes from within you.
Spend some time thinking about where you're going, and why you want to go there? Is your vision worth fighting for? If it's not, stop what you're doing, take a deep breath and search for it, ask God to lead you, and find it and then figure out how to get there!
Things I'm Reading, Listening To and Watching This Week:
Pickleball. They just put in a court down the street from our house, so Gina and I got paddle, we've read the instructions, and we're heading out this week to give it a try! Any tips?
I went to a golf clinic by Wally Armstrong. Not only was I challenged by his teaching, but I was also inspired by his life. He wrote a book with Ken Blanchard called The Mulligan, which is now a major motion picture. Look for it!
I just heard Rodney D. Bullard speak at a conference and was challenged by his charge to make a difference in the 3-feet around you. Check out his book, Heroes Wanted.
I've mentioned the great guitar of Craig Chaquico. Check out Acoustic Highway on Apple.
